**Job Title: Facilities Manager** **Job Description** The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility infrastructure of warehouses and offices. This role ensures a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment while managing vendor relationships, budgets, and facility-related projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in facility management, leadership experience, and the ability to drive process improvements. **Responsibilities** + Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including building repairs, preventative maintenance, security, and business continuity planning. + Manage facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and operational efficiency. + Lead external vendors to ensure high standards of service and maintenance. + Maintain policies for preventative maintenance, safety, security, and regulatory compliance. + Support facility-related projects, including renovations, expansions, and system upgrades. + Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships for services such as cleaning, security, HVAC, and landscaping. + Partner with EHS leader to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to building operations and workplace safety. + Support sustainability initiatives and energy-efficient practices within facilities. **Essential Skills** + Customer service + Facilities maintenance + Facility management + Vendor management + Troubleshooting + Mechanical + HVAC + Repair + Electrical **Why Work Here** Once brought on direct as an employee, you will receive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, Health Savings Accounts with company contributions, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Employee Assistance Programs offering confidential counseling and support services. The shift is from 8am to 4:30pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
