Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer with 4+ years of experience in Land Development to join our growing Civil Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design and management of residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects throughout the region. This position in based in the Northern Virginia area

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in land development engineering, including site layout, grading, and utility design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
• Strong understanding of local zoning, permitting, and development regulations in DC/MD/VA or relevant regions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of engineering design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for site development projects.
• Perform grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion/sediment control calculations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, senior engineers, and clients to ensure designs meet project goals and regulatory requirements.
• Support permitting efforts by preparing and submitting necessary documents to local and state agencies.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance on design and engineering tasks.
• Manage multiple project timelines and coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders.
