Job Description: Manager – FinTech PMO Program Lead

Excelerate is seeking a strategic Program Lead to manage a high-impact initiative for a FinTech client in their newly formed and growing Program Management Office. This 3-month+ contract role requires full-time availability and on-site presence in Mountain View.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead creation of a "how-to" playbook and job aids based on leadership’s priorities.
• Develop and roll out training videos (Loom, podcasts) for Program Managers.
• Coach PMs to align program deliverables with new standards.
• Oversee complex workstreams from start to finish.
• Analyze data, map detailed business processes, and identify risks to drive operational improvements.
• Build business cases, perform financial modeling, and deliver executive-level presentations.
• Facilitate workshops and drive stakeholder alignment.
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years in management consulting with expertise in strategic program management, change management and training, and process playbook development and deployment.
• Strong experience mapping complex business processes and devising ways to teach/train these processes to new teams
• Skilled in developing concise job aids and 1-page “how-to” guides to support Program Manager (PM) deliverables.
• Skilled in GenAI tools (e.g., Gemini, Notebook LM), and video-based instruction.
• Strong background in Agile/Lean project management, data analysis, and change management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Comfortable in large, complex organizations (1,000+ people).
• Experience in Fintech or Finance is a plus.
• Availability to be on-site in Mountain View is required.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Employment Type: Project-based (not benefits eligible)

Duration: 3 months, 40 hours a week
