Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team on a short-term contract basis in San Ramon, CA. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth communication and efficient administrative support within a medical setting. This position requires a strong ability to manage tasks related to patient scheduling, insurance verification, and other front desk responsibilities. Experience using ScanChart and AdvantX software strongly preferred. Medical Receptionist Responsibilities: - Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures. - Answer incoming phone calls and address inquiries or route them to appropriate personnel. - Verify medical insurance information and ensure accurate documentation in the EHR system. - Maintain and update patient charts and records with precision. - Perform billing tasks, including processing payments and resolving billing inquiries. - Schedule appointments and manage calendar coordination for medical staff. - Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and preparing reports. - Assist with creating charts and graphs as needed for operational purposes. - Ensure compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
