As an Optical Laboratory Specialist, you'll gain the specialized training needed to make and repair the eyewear that is provided to Soldiers in the Army. You'll use your knowledge of optics and ocular health to sort and forward prescriptions, prepare and make prescription lenses, inspect them for accuracy, assemble frames, and perform repairs and maintenance on optical tools and machines.
