GENERAL SUMMARY

It is the responsibility of this position to manage all aspects of Internal and External Audits. Interface directly with external Auditor along with Highly Marelli USA, Inc. to implement process improvements, cost reductions, and provide customer support for external and/or internal audits.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Internal IATF Process Audits required annually
2. Support VA/VE trials, validation, and implementation at Highly Marelli USA, Inc. customer and supplier facilities.
3. Customer audits as required.
4. Conduct root cause analysis to improve processes and resolve customer issued corrective action requests.
5. Provide technical support and training for manufacturing, customers, and suppliers.
6. Perform monthly internal Plant Health Check Audits, monitor action items to closure.
7. Communicates frequently with internal and external contacts on various issues.
8. Support Supplier Quality Engineer in Supplier Escalations and Audits.
9. Must follow all company requirements regarding Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This work is performed in a general manufacturing environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The incumbent must:

• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related discipline and generally seven plus years of experience in a related field.

• Have a PhD in a related discipline with five plus years of experience in a related field
• AIAG Certificate in IATF Core Tools
• IATF 16949 Lead Auditor certification
• IATF 16949 audit leading experiences
• Certification in Auditing
• Six Sigma certification & experience is a plus
• Have experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications
• Have skills in all aspects of data analytics, including data mining, generation, and visualization. Be able to transform data into readable, goal-oriented reports that drive innovation and growth.
• Have strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and possess the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs
• Be able to pass all background checks and pre-employment tests, including any required drug test
• Be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Intermediate to advanced experience (beyond basic data entry) working with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other presentation applications and/or software.
