Job Description

We are seeking a visionary Senior Architectural Designer to lead and inspire design excellence across our firm. This pivotal role is responsible for shaping innovative, high-quality architectural solutions that reflect our mission and exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate is a licensed architect with a proven record of leadership, creativity, and collaboration across diverse project types—particularly in private healthcare and federal sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion a culture of design excellence throughout the firm.
  • Lead the creative vision and establish design strategies aligned with firm and client goals.
  • Mentor and guide design teams to foster innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Serve as a design thought leader through participation in industry organizations, conferences, and internal mentorship.
  • Support the development and application of firmwide design standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project objectives and translate them into compelling design solutions.
  • Ensure consistency and quality control across all project deliverables.
  • Represent the firm in client presentations, design reviews, and public-facing engagements.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing and presentation support.
  • Deliver design solutions that enhance user experience and drive business value.
  • Advance the firm’s healthcare design practice with a global outlook and an award-winning approach.
  • Provide technical expertise in strategic facility planning, medical planning, lean healthcare design, and sustainable practices.
  • Present design work and insights at industry conferences and events.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and excellence in healthcare design.

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Architect.
  • Minimum of 10 years of architectural design experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Exceptional portfolio demonstrating creative, innovative, and high-caliber design work.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.
  • Proven ability to integrate design vision with technical and financial constraints.
