Job Description

• Welding Process Tracking : Monitor welding processes, including selecting appropriate welding parameters and developing Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR). Ensure welding processes comply with international standards (such as AWS, ISO) and on-site requirements.
• Welding Quality Control : Supervise the welding production process to ensure welding quality meets design and process requirements. Assist in resolving quality issues that arise during welding and propose and track the implementation of improvement measures.
• Equipment Maintenance and Management : Be responsible for the selection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of welding equipment to ensure its normal operation. Regularly calibrate and maintain welding equipment to extend its service life and reduce downtime due to failures.
• Technical Support and Training : Provide welding technical support to the production team to resolve on-site welding technical challenges. Conduct regular technical training for welding operators to enhance their welding skills and quality awareness. Assist the R&D team in developing and validating new product welding processes.
• Process Optimization and Improvement : Continuously optimize welding processes to improve production efficiency and reduce costs. Explore and introduce new welding technologies and materials to enhance product quality and performance. Participate in cross-departmental projects to promote innovation and improvement in welding processes.
• Safety and Compliance : Ensure welding operations comply with safety regulations and environmental requirements to minimize safety hazards during welding. Adhere to national and local welding regulations to ensure the legality and compliance of the company's welding

Qualifications

• Familiarity with the basic principles and processes of laser welding.
• Knowledge of mainstream laser welding machine equipment, related interfaces, debugging software, and network protocols, and the ability to use them.
• Understanding of laser welding safety standards and the ability to manage and improve laser welding safety.
• Proficiency in laser welding process parameters, with the ability to adjust and optimize these parameters to achieve desired product quality.
• Awareness of common faults and troubleshooting methods for laser welding machines, with the ability to identify and repair faulty machines and perform ongoing maintenance.
• Ability to identify on-site welding machine issues and design additional optimization and improvement needs for the machines.
• Strong communication and learning skills.

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Ability to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs.
• Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly when inspecting installations or troubleshooting.
• Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 25-50 pounds.
• Occasional lifting of heavier items may be required.
• Ability to work in various environments, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites, which may require driving or other forms of transportation.
