This position may be filled at one of the following State Fund locations: Bakersfield, Eureka, Fresno, Glendale, Pleasanton, Redding, Riverside, Rohnert Park, San Diego, Sacramento, Stockton or Vacaville.

State Fund’s Enterprise Procurement unit has an exciting opening for a Business Partner Procurement Services Manager. In this role, you’ll take the lead in managing our team of dynamic individuals who provide quality assistance and support to our business partners and facilitate the Contingent Workforce Program.

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven leader to manage our Business Partner Procurement Services team. This role is responsible for overseeing the front-line staff who support internal stakeholders with procurement requests for strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and contingent workforce management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts
  • Partner with business units to understand procurement needs and triage their requests.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the management of our Contingent Workforce
  • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices

Under the direct supervision of the Staff Services Manager II, you will :

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Effectively communicate to senior leadership and executive team.
  • Perform the full range of leadership duties that will contribute to the successful operations of the Business Partner Procurement Services unit within Enterprise Procurement.
  • Oversee the Contingent Workforce Management Program, the EP request intake system, and business partner outreach.
  • Participate in customer experience feedback sessions, and
  • Serve as the lead for the unit's various operations.

Our Procurement team operates remotely Statewide, with occasional travel required to various sites and locations.

Additional Skills that would be advantageous includes:

  • Proficiency with Oracle Purchasing and SAP Ariba Suite
